DIAGNOSTIC AUDIOLOGY  SERVICES  INCLUDE:

 Behavioral hearing evaluation: A hearing assessment to determine hearing threshold levels based on your child’s age and development level (may begin as young as 3 years).

Universal newborn hearing screening: Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) screening to identify potential hearing difficulties in newborns.

Otoacoustic emission testing (OAE): An assessment of the cochlea, the organ for hearing, located in the inner ear.

Middle ear evaluation: An assessment of the eardrum and middle ear muscle reflexes.

Custom swim plugs, hearing protection, and musician’s earplugs.

The experience of breastfeeding is special for many reasons, including bonding with your baby, perfect nutrition only you can provide, cost savings and health benefits for both mother and baby.

Keep in mind that breastfeeding is a learned skill. It requires patience and practice. For some women, the learning stages can be frustrating and uncomfortable. And some situations make breastfeeding even harder, such as babies born early or health problems in the mother. The good news is that it can get easier, and support for breastfeeding mothers is available by phone or in person at both our Dallas and Plano offices.
