Our offices want to provide an update on PPE recommendations, considering the recent changes to the state’s guidance on the mask mandate.
In order to protect our patients and staff and provide a safe environment for all, Pediatric Associates of Dallas would like to reiterate the continued importance of masking and social distancing. We will continue to require employees, physicians, patients, and families of patients to wear a mask in all PAD facilities, even if vaccinated.
Our COVID-19 protocol will not change. We will continue to screen each person entering our facilities on the well side for symptoms, exposure, and temperature, as well as limiting the number of family members accompanying each patient. We will also continue to have separate “well” and “sick” sides in our Dallas and Plano locations.
Remember, masks, when combined with handwashing and maintaining safe distance, have been proven to be effective at limiting the spread of Covid-19, as well as other illnesses! We wish you all a safe and happy Spring, and as always, please feel free to reach out with questions or concerns.
