Paras Longanecker, D.O.

Dr. Longanecker grew up in Irving, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she received a B.S. in Neuroscience as well as a minor in Dance and Performance. She went on to attend medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and completed her residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2013. After residency Dr. Longanecker practiced as a hospitalist at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where she enjoyed teaching medical students and residents. She returned to outpatient pediatrics after missing the continuity with families that the clinic setting has to offer. Her professional interests include newborn care and working with first time parents.

Dr. Longanecker’s young, energetic son keeps both she and her husband on their toes. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures, spending time outdoors, embroidery and yoga.
