Clinical Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY: 

We are looking to hire a Clinical Supervisor to lead the nursing department (approximately 40 RNs/LVNs/MAs) in our large outpatient pediatric clinic. He or she will also work with the rest of our leadership team to help us execute our long-term vision for Pediatric Associates of Dallas. Ideal candidates should have solid experience as a registered nurse and be capable of handle challenging situations.This position requires team management skills and a problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct supervision to clinical staff, ensuring appropriate assessment and treatment of patients health
  • Makes recommendations to management concerning clinical workflows and activities
  • Ensure nursing operational standards are met
  • Ensure team follows policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with nursing administrator and practice leadership regarding recruiting, selecting, orienting/training, and evaluating nursing staff
  • Participate in evaluation of the nurses’ performance
  • Resolve complaints or other issues
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to staff
  • Participate in conjunction with Nursing Administrator to keep records for nurses’ files, office policies, and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • BSN from accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum two years of professional nursing experience including two years supervisory-level experience, preferably in medical practice setting
  • Valid Texas Registered Nursing license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proven work experience as a nursing supervisor
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical procedures
  • Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
