Kathy is a seasoned professional with 25+ years of experience in healthcare. She is able to quickly identify areas of opportunity and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement process improvements.  Prior to PAD, Kathy served in Revenue Cycle Management roles at Conservative Care Occupational Health, Premier Family Physicians (presently Millenium Physician Group), USMD – Urology and General Surgery (Regional Clinical Operation Manager), Curo/Kindred (Hospice Group), where she optimized their revenue cycles utilizing various EMR systems including: Athena health, Allscripts, Nextgen, E-clinical, Epic Resolute and private software’s.  Kathy has worked as a clinical nurse for 8 years in different specialties; Pediatric, Internal Medicine, Plastic Surgery, and Pulmonology Group. Co-owned and operated a Medical Billing/Transcription/Consulting service from 1992 to 2008. She is a Certified Professional Coder and member of AAPC from 2000- present.  She has served as VP and President for local OKCMGMA.  She has a comprehensive knowledge of medical coding, medical terminology and billing with use of CPT and ICD-10 codes and modifiers. Kathy is very knowledgeable of HIPAA use and requirements and thrives in both independent and collaborative work environments. She is dedicated, innovative and self-motivated team player/builder.
